At Hot Tub Heroes Ltd we provide a professional BISHTA/ASPP accredited hot tub servicing designed as preventative maintenance and routine cleaning to reduce the build up of harmful bacteria and biofilm.
Our service is not a repair job and does not include the replacement of accessories such as filters. (though we will replace o‑rings, seals, and gaskets only when required.)
What Hot Tub Servicing Is:
Preventative Maintenance & Cleaning:
• A regular service that helps keep your hot tub clean and operating safely.
• Includes plumbing & cleaning - seal check/replacement, flushing, vacuuming, skimming, refilling with fresh water, and polishing.
• Includes electrical - amperage checks, visual checks.
What It Is Not:
It is not repair work for underlying issues.
It does not include the replacement of parts or accessories (e.g. filters) beyond o‑rings, seals, and gaskets.
It is not intended for hot tubs that are “not service‑ready.”
How to Prepare for a Hot Tub Service:
Ensure the Hot Tub Is “Service‑Ready”:
• The hot tub must be filled, turned on, heated, and operating at good jet-pressure without any error codes on the display.
• It should be in a condition similar to taking a car for its routine service—don’t expect us to service a hot tub that has issues affecting our ability to work on it.
Provide Adequate Access:
• Ensure there is unobstructed access to the hot tub (free of obstructions, debris, or dog-mess) so that we can load in/out our equipment.
• Ensure ample parking is available nearby for our service van.
Required Utilities on Site:
• Please provide at least one outdoor tap with good water pressure.
• An accessible 13A socket outdoors is also necessary to power our tools and equipment.
General Considerations:
• The service typically takes about 3 hours and includes all plumbing, electrical, and cleaning work.
• We will refill the hot tub with fresh water and polish it after servicing.
• A service report is available on request.
• The hot tub’s filter should be reasonably clean before we arrive.
• While we always aim for crystal clear water, if your hot tub has been heavily neglected (with significant bacteria or biofilm buildup), the water may appear cloudy or have particles/scum after service. We will advise on further steps as needed.
• If access is hindered, or if the hot tub requires repairs affecting our ability to service it, we reserve the right to charge a fee of £99 for wasted time.
• Cancellations made less than 5 working days before the service will also incur a charge of £99.
In the extremely rare event you believe we have caused an issue during service, please notify us in writing within 5 working days of the service.
