Hot Tub Removal in Bramhall, Stockport

When it's time for your hot tub to go to heaven, think of us like the grim reaper.. maybe not, maybe just a helpful local hot tub company who will take the stress out of the process.

Before contacting us, John from Bramhall, Stockport was tearing his hair out with this hot tub conundrum: due to the extension built on his property, he could no longer fit the old tub down the side, but also a crane wasn't going to be possible due to foliage and overhead wires.

With the right set of tools you can actually cut up a hot tub and remove it in sections. So armed with little more than a couple of electric saws and some willpower we got to work.

First came the decking.. did I mention, the hot tub was in decking! So we cut a little access area around the tub.

Once this was cut, we were able to gain access to the sides and pull out all the old pumps and heater.

Now the cutting. We started from the inside and cut each seat out. The the tricky part comes: breaking the final bits of frame and pipework holding it all together. It really was hard graft at this point.

After much fighting with the tub structure we go it all separated and lifted it out to be taken to our friends at Wheeldon Brothers in Bury.

On our advice, John decided to purchase a hot tub from our sister company MCR Pools & Spas and is very happy with the much more up to date and energy efficient tub we supplied him (and no, he didn't sink this one).
